When you create an account, we collect your email address and any sign-in provider information you choose to share (such as Google). When you use AllerFood, we store your preferences: cuisines you like, allergies, spice level, how far you're willing to travel, and your saved or loved dishes.

If you upload a photo or write a review, we store that content along with your account ID so we can credit points to you and moderate submissions.

2. Location data

AllerFood needs your general location to find nearby restaurants. We use your device's location or an address you type in. We do not track your real-time location continuously; we only use the location you provide for a single search and may store your last used location to make future searches faster.

3. How we use your information

• To generate dish and restaurant suggestions matched to your preferences.
• To remember your allergies and dietary restrictions so we never suggest unsafe dishes.
• To run the points and photo-review program if you choose to participate.
• To improve search quality and fix bugs.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the app (for example, our hosting and map services) and only under confidentiality agreements. If you share a dish with someone via text or link, you choose what to send.

5. Your choices

You can update your preferences, saved dishes, and account settings at any time. You can delete your account by contacting us; deleting your account removes your profile data, preferences, saved dishes, points, and uploaded content.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections and row-level access controls, to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong password and keep your sign-in credentials safe.
