1. Information we collect
AllerFood for restaurants collects the email and sign-in details kitchen staff use to create an account (for example Google or email and password). We store kitchen account data needed to run the product: restaurant profile, menu dishes and allergen tags your kitchen enters or imports, staff membership, QR and allergen-chart settings, and related kitchen activity logs. Guest Allergy menu pages do not create guest accounts and do not store guest allergy profiles. Allergy picks a guest makes on a restaurant Allergy menu stay in that browser session to filter the menu and are not saved to an AllerFood guest account.
2. How we use your information
- To run your kitchen account, menu review, QR Allergy menu, allergen chart, and staff dish lookup.
- When a kitchen uploads a menu photo or PDF, that file is processed by an AI service to draft dish and allergen tags for the manager to review.
- To improve product reliability and fix bugs.
4. Your choices
Kitchen users can update account settings and restaurant data while signed in. You can delete your account from Account settings (Delete account), or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile sign-in data. Kitchen records for the restaurant may remain so other staff can keep using the kitchen. If you worked in a kitchen on AllerFood, the kitchen's allergen record may keep the actions you took there, including the name shown on each entry, after you delete your account.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections and row-level access controls, to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong password and keep your sign-in credentials private.
