Terms of Service

1. Welcome to AllerFood

AllerFood is software for restaurants. It helps your kitchen draft and sign off on allergen information for your menu, share an Allergy menu with guests by QR code, print an allergen chart, and look up dishes on staff devices. By using AllerFood, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use most features. You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Food allergies

AllerFood shows the allergen information each restaurant enters and signs off on. AllerFood is a guide, not a guarantee, and we cannot guarantee that any dish is free of an allergen. Kitchens share equipment, so cross-contact can happen. Guests should always confirm with their server before ordering. AllerFood is not medical or dietary advice.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use AllerFood to harass others, upload false information, scrape data, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

5. Termination

You can stop using AllerFood at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we need to protect the service or other users.

6. Disclaimers

AllerFood is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Restaurant hours, menus, prices, and availability change frequently. We do our best to show accurate information, but always confirm details with the restaurant.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the updated terms with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of AllerFood after changes means you accept the updated terms.

8. Restaurant plan billing

$249 one-time setup, then $50 a month per location. Renews monthly until you cancel.

When you start, we charge $299: a one-time $249 setup fee plus your first month at $50. Then we charge $50 a month per location until you cancel. Cancel anytime by contacting us. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for and won't be charged again. If you cancel before your setup visit is complete, we refund the $249 setup fee in full when your plan ends. Once your setup visit is complete, the setup fee is non-refundable. Monthly charges, including the first month's $50, are not refunded. Your setup visit is complete when your manager confirms it with us.

An approved AllerFood specialist sets everything up with you. We import your menu for your manager to review and approve. We show your staff how to use AllerFood, and we bring up to 25 printed QR table cards.
